 Note:

  • Tensile Strengths are determined in accordance with Cordage Institute 1500-97, Test Methods for Fiber Rope.
  • Ropes are pre-loaded 10 times at 20% of breaking strength prior to generating graph.
  • The above graph shows the elongation up to the breaking percent, in actual use you should never exceed the maximum working load for the application as determined by the ultimate break strength divided by the appropriate safety factor (typically 5-7).
